A great doctor. Extremely smart and extremely kind.
After meeting with several other urologist and learning about their suggested procedure, I had the good fortune to be referred to Dr. Kelly. As practicing physician and surgeon, I am used to the brusque manners of some of my colleagues. However that is not Dr. Kelly. For years, I have benefited mightily from Dr. Kelly. He has an extraordinary and engaging manner in interacting with me. Dr. Kelly has a rare capacity to listen and to reassure. I am very confident in his methodical approach to ensuring that all tests and evaluations are done and properly interpreted. Additionally, I find that he and his colleagues are always available and eager to help. Dr. Kelly is a remarkable doctor for whom I hold in great respect and appreciation.
Just had a prostate aquablation of my 120 gram prostate done at NYU Tisch Hospital by Dr.Kelly. It couldn't have gone better! I had literally zero pain after the procedure and he was able to discharge me to home the following day without a foley catheter. Truly amazing care by Dr. Kelly and his staff at NYU Tisch! Shout out to the phenomenal nurses on the step down unit,also! If you are considering prostate surgery for BPH, I highly recommend Dr. Kelly and NYU Tisch Hospital!
