My pcp referred me due to low leptin and this provider wouldn’t accept me as a patient despite that leptin is a hormone and there are multiple disorders that are indicated when it is low. They didn’t provide any local referrals and seemed stumped as to why I was referred. I shouldn’t have to travel to St. Louis to get the care I need.
