After going to the same ER twice within 24 hours for my husbands fall and leg pain we met Dr. Blackstock at Ochsner Westbank. The news that my husband had lots of blockages in both his legs and needed an angiogram done ASAP was very scary. After two lengthy angiograms and a stent in the leg my husband’s leg was saved. Dr. Blackstock is very caring and and his concern to save his leg was top priority. He is now our Vascular doctor. No need to go anywhere else!
Dr. Blackstock worked tirelessly to clear arterial blockages in my 89 y/o fathers leg as a vascular emergency thereby preventing the need to remove the lower portion of his leg. He is a solid surgeon.
