Excellent surgeon, caring bedside manner, and good communicator. Dr. Bechtel talked with me three times on the day of my surgery: in pre-op, in recovery and then in my room. He also spoke with my wife twice that day. He explained everything about the procedure and patiently answered all of our questions, and performed the procedure in a manner that enabled me to recover much more quickly and much less painfully than anticipated. Had my knee replacement with him and couldn't ask for a more attentive and caring doctor. Knowing the hospital only had Pepsi products he personally brought me a coke in recovery the day after surgery. Dr.chris please never change
