Ther are. simply put, not many good Physicans LEFT in Wise County. Dr. Basham is ONE of the very few. He is an amazing human being and a great Physician. You can TRUST his judegement. He will answer any questions you have in a manner YOU can understand. He is not in a hurry when he is with you. He is PATIENT. He LISTENS to you. I am the worst sort of patient any doctor could not wish to have. I am well educated, a former healthcare worker, and bi-polar. HE IS STILL, all the above with me!
Dr. Basham refers you and refers you and refers you rather than taking care of any problem himself it's like he's scared to be a doctor! I am currently searching for a more competent doctor and trying to get out of wellmont's network all together. they don't care about the pt just the almighty dollar.
