In the early 90s, Dr Lanes treated my husband Jorge when we had no Insurance because we had just moved to Fl. He stuck with us and I still have my husband. We remember him fondly and pray for him. An amazing human being and a great Doctor, may God bless him and his family.

I didn’t love my experience with Dr. Sink. He was over 2 hours behind for my consult and seemed annoyed to talk to me. He insinuated I wasn’t “serious or ready for surgery” because I had some questions about childbearing before versus after surgery. He also examined me and brushed off my concerns about hypermobility, saying “you’re not the most hypermobile I’ve seen today.” He also wrote off my hEDS diagnosis, saying it’s really just hypermobility and it’s a fad diagnosis now. Dr. Berghoff reviewed my left hip osteoarthritis MRI and x ray and confirmed he would recommend a total left hip replacement when I was ready to schedule the procedure. I am very impressed with the results and am five days post procedure. He used the anterior approach, which has been great for minimizing pain and allowing for a fast recovery. My son had constipation issues. He helped him the best way. He did not recommend expensive tests or just any medicine. Very patient, he gives great advices. We love working with him and we will recommend to anyone in need.
My experience was horrible. After waiting 2 hours to see him he walks in and informs me that my knee replacements needed to be redone. Boom! Just like that. One knee was replaced 11 years ago and the other 2 years ago and they both started hurting at the same time. I found him to be rude and informed me that I did not need to come back and see him. That will not be a problem.

Dr. Mayman performed a hip replacement after an ineffectual prior surgery. On the day of my surgery I was able to walk out with a walker, and was walking without a cane in less than two weeks. He and his staff, as well as the entire HSS team are the gold standard.
