My husband visited Dr. Standage for an ear wax extraction. Upon extraction, my husband indicated he was in severe pain. Dr. Standage urged my husband to follow through with the procedure as “he’s got to get that wax out of there” and proceeded. My husband had to verbally tell him to stop due to the level of pain. Dr. Standage showed no concern and appeared annoyed. We contacted the medical office back and the receptionist told us that she will let “somebody” know. Dr. Standage is an absolute class act. Pleasant, kind, caring, and a good listener with a good sense of humor. He’s been fantastic in treating my blocked ears due to small ear canals and I always look forward to the cleanings. He’s getting up there, but I hope he sticks around for a while!
Me and my son have been patients with dr. Standage. I am European, my son was born here. Last night when leaving dr. S office I have told him that I was giving my son homeopathic Polish medicine to see if his breathing will improve and dr. S said and I quote “be careful he might develop Polish accent after it”. I was in disbelief that a medical professional could be this rude and ignorant. That an educated doctor will mock my accent and say such disrespectful thing a front of his staff and my child. He is wonderful!! He is such a kind , caring and knowledgeable Dr. Everyone in the office is always so nice as well!!
What an experience! Dr. Standage has THE best personality I've seen in a doctor in a long time. Not only is he highly knowledgeable, but he really listened carefully to my issue and moved forward with a plan of action personalized for me. Because of him, I was able to enjoy my son's wedding much more. He helped me so much. Thank you, Dr. Standage - I'm never going to another ENT again!
