Dr Burks is a very professional and knowledgeable Dr that will treat you with respect and will make sure you understand everything step by step and cares about his patients unlike most places you goto that your just a number and they want to get you out of their office without a treatment plan other than to bill your insurance 10 fold I would recommend Dr burks to anyone and everyone they are a fast pace office that can handle the load because they are not understaff everyone in hwy 57 office is very nice and goes above and ... read more
Dr. Burke is fantastic. He takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. I don’t feel like he’s too busy for me or rushing me out the door. He explains things thoroughly. His staff is calm and caring. I highly recommend him for any spine related needs!
Burks failed to tell us of a very serious finding on my husband’s lumbar MRI. Thankfully, I requested a copy of the report (months later) it showed a large mass on his kidney. After further testing (which the radiologist put in the report further testing was recommended) showed it is carcinoma. Totally inexcusable for a doctor to ignore a finding of this nature. Was very disappointed, didn't even get to see Dr. Burk whom I had the appointment with. Saw his nurse practitioner. She was not very nice and was not helpful in any way. I have a degenerative disc in my neck that has moved and causing both of my arms to hurt and be numb. I haven't slept more than two hours a night in over a month the pain is so bad. She said they would schedule an MRI and possible arrange for more shots in my neck that don't work. Asked about the pain and she told me to take double my gabapentin that I take.
Everyone at Bienville is always very professional and nice.
