I had the privilege of getting a scholarship to attend the Manice Education Center. I learned to pitch a tent, hike, canoe, and identify non-poisonous food, while making friends and developing my leadership skills. These are experiences I would of never had, growing up in the Bronx, but thanks to Christodora I developed a desire to alleviate climate change while empowering others. The seed of my life's purpose as the CEO of Schools for Sustainability, was planted at Christodora. Christodora changed my life.
Manice is amazing, from learning about nature to the amazing food there is no better way to spend your summer!!
