Hey I'm from Germany and I really enjoyed the market last year. It's like a little winter wonderland and you can find some lovely presents for Christmas :)

smaller and more expensive than expected. why do we have to pay 5$ to see 15 other vendors? none of which were unique! the german christmas area was pretty but just small and overpriced to warrant a ticket. food was so so, fthe fries marketed as belgian fries were soggy, cold, and no fun mayonnaise like in Germany or belgium, brats were lukewarm, buns were cold, and sauerkraut cost an extra dollar. severly disappointed.

It’s a lot smaller than I expected. Some great vendors but most only accept cash and their goods are very over priced. The mulled wine on a souvenir mug was worth the trip though

Christmas Village is not what I was expecting. It was definitely smaller than I imagined and overly priced. A fair amount of vendors were cash only and the ATM that they had charge a $5.00 ATM fee. Plus it wasn't stroller friendly. You had to go up towards Ripley's Believe it or not because the ice rink was blocking the area by the water.
