Was very disappointed with the Christmas market. I have been to Germany several years and this could not compare. Most of the stands outside had nothing to do with the German Christmas tradition. You had to pay to get in the tent and there was only one German vendor. The music was not German or Christmas carols. There was not one nativity whereas in Germany this is the main theme of their markets. Will not be coming back.
Need a little more variety. The food was not as good as I would have thought.

Loved it! I am German and this Christmas Market really reminds me of the Christmas Markets in Germany! Very good German food and Glühwein!I would really recommend it!
If you have plans to be in the area and the time to stop by here then do so. I wouldn't make extra plans to just go in town for this. It's actually much smaller than it seems by the ads. The items inside are costly but nice. Reminds me more of a crafts show only one actual German area the rest is mostly art and food vendors.
beautiful unique gifts and decorations. not all shops take credit , so bring lots of cash. $$$$
loved all the shops and the beautiful setting right on the inner harbor, plus having the beer garden was very convenient since it was raining all night, i highly recommend and will definitely return next year
