Because I had neuropathy, Dr. Park took my off a biologic I had been taking for years. No substitute was provided and I had to push to get prednisone so I could walk and function somewhat normally. Dr. Park does nothing herself. She provides you with a list of doctors to choose from and actually provided me with a list of biologics I should reserarch. When I chose one, she said 'no, that may cause stomach issues.' She told me to review the list again at which point I reminded her that SHE is the doctor and should make some d... read more
Met her while hospitalized for PMR. She was kind & caring. I didn’t know why all of a sudden I was in severe pain & could hardly walk. Autoimmune diseases are a tricky thing, because if you have one, you usually get more. She understood, and togetherwe tried different meds, and allowed me to modify with my symptoms! Something most Drs don’t do but need to do!!!
I was saddened to lose Dr. Park when I lost my insurance. I was blessed with her care one more time when I was admitted to the hospital for two pulmonary embolisms. Although she can no longer be my rheumatologist, she came to check on me and order all the correct labs for a person with my complicated health. The staff at Dr. Park’s office have always been kind to me, and the waiting was short. Thank you, Dr. Park!
Waste of time, if she doesn’t want to do her job as a rheumatologist then she should retire. The only “tests” she did were poking with her fingers. How about ordering an x-ray?! All she did was talk about how she didn’t think biologics were safe. Go to her if you want advice on a good physical therapist. Otherwise find a REAL rheumatologist that will actually do their job. She should be reported to the Health board for incompetency.
My wife and I have been treated by both Dr. Park and Dr. Kim at their Laguna Beach offices as well as during hospital stays. They have each been knowledgeable, caring, attentive and extremely professional. They follow up regularly, return phone calls and routine messages we leave on the Patient Fusion interactive website. What more can a patient ask for???
I am impressed by Dr. Park and staff's professionalism and human touch. Easy to schedule. Dr. Park interviewed (medical history etc) me in person (real time), so you don't have to fill out all those tedious forms. Dr. Park dedicated the necessary time to evaluate my questions and medical condition. Excellent follow up! Dr. Park called me in person (not the office staff) letting me know about the lab results. I have not experienced this doctor-patient relationship in a long while
