Dr. chen is always there when i need her and spends all the time i want with me. she always listens to my concerns and makes me feel like i can trust her and her staff. she is my favorite gastro i’ve been in my 7 years of having crohn’s disease. highly recommend!
Absolutely do not make an appointment with this doctor. She had no idea what she was doing. You are not supposed to wake up from a colonoscopy in as much pain as i was in. She has no bedside manner. Spoke down to me when I asked her questions. Would not return my phone calls unless I paid a full copay for each call. Absolutely awful experience.
I’m not sure what doctor the other reviewers went to, but my experience with her was terrible. I was transferred to her from my existing gastro as he was leaving the practice and the first time I met her was at my scheduled endoscopy/colonoscopy. First, the staff there had no knowledge as to why I was having these procedures and in the 30 seconds I got to speak to Dr. Chen, she really didn’t have any idea either. Dr. Chen is super diligent and thorough! She made sure to answer all my questions, and had incredible bedside manner. She provided me with a robust step-by-step game plan to hopefully figure out my diagnosis! (My appointment did run a bit long though due to waiting for the staff to schedule me for a follow up, which was a little inconvenient, but Dr. Chen kept profusely apologizing for the wait. so I think it may have been a one-off issue. The Dr herself was very efficient when she did see me)
Dr. Christine Chen is a fantastic physician. She takes the time to explain things well for her patients. Very nice.
