I recently had a very frustrating experience with the receptionist staff. When I called to confirm whether my insurance was accepted, the first receptionist I spoke to couldn't find my insurance on their list. They refused to contact the insurance company for verification and abruptly hung up the phone. I called back, and thankfully, another staff member was able to find my insurance on the accepted list without any issue. This inconsistency and lack of professionalism from the first receptionist are unacceptable.
It took 4 weeks to get in to see her and then because I had a nasal congestion the doctor refused To see me even thought I had a negative Covid test.
The office staff is absolutely pathetic. They do not return phone calls, are not helpful at all and made mistakes through every level of the process for a simple office visit. I showed up 15 minutes early on the day of my appointment and was told that they had tried to call me the day before to cancel. I had no voice messages or missed calls from their office the day before or the day of yet my phone # was correct in their records. They lied about calling. Horrible. They do not return phone calls. They do not return requests on their patient portal for appointments. My primary care doctor within the same network even referred me and they were supposed to call me to schedule and they did not. I had to physically drive to the office for an appt three weeks out. Then the night before they leave me a voicemail that I need a Covid test and I missed it, so they can't take my appt. Absolutely ridiculous.
