So I just returned from Christina's for Lunch. I ordered the Christina Salad with extra Shrimp. It arrived soggy and there was barely enough shrimp much less additional shrimp. Of course the waitress arrived and she looked at the Salad and agreed. She told Christina my issue, but Christina did not see the need to come and take a look for herself. She waited 45 minutes later for me to go up there to pay for the meal to bring out the cook to dispute on the amount of Shrimp on the plate which was of course now almost empty. She... read more
Far and Away best downtown restaurant – Excellent food, great staff! The lunches are wonderful but I'm partial to breakfast and theirs is the best...
The food here is awesome and the wait staff is very nice. We quit eating there after the owner and one of her friends stared at us and whispered to each other about us our whole meal and made us uncomfortable. We do not look like freaks and did not appreciate such rude treatment. She lost our business because of her behavior.
Best Mom/Pop Restaurant Downtown When I left Baton Rouge to move to Georgia, Christina?s Restaurant is another one that I wish I could have moved with me. Less expensive than Poor Boy Lloyd?s and closer to our work, this was one of our favorite restaurants and we tried to go there two to three times a week. Why? Their lunch specials are to die for!
