I’ve read several posts, some positive, some negative. Keeping in mind that doctors are not God, Dr. Ventress is one of the most intelligent, compassionate, and passionate doctors I’ve known. I’ve been a nurse in ER for many years, and I’m not easily impressed. She is a true patient advocate, listening and reacting in reassuring actions. Although my insurance carrier isn’t with MMC, she’s definitely worth “ the out-of-network extra charge. You’ll be hard pressed to find one comparable!!!!❤️ My Doc
I was a patient of Dr. Ventress for almost 11 years. For a long time I thought she was on my side and in my corner. Until of course, my chronic pain got worse and worse. Then I left the cesspool of medicine that is central Illinois and sought help in St. Louis. I was sent to Neurology, Genetics, Rheumatology, and Cardiology through Washington University. She’s quite knowledgeable and seeks any test for a diagnosis. I adored her. I was in shock when she dismissed me as a patient mainly due my privacy concerns, trying to convey medical concerns to the staff. It was regrettable that memorial employees came between me and my doctor. I trusted her. I’ve had nothing but issues in finding a good doctor. I can’t even get a doctor at Koke Mill facility due to her blacklisting me as a patient . I’d like for her to take me back as a patient. I always trusted her
