I wanted a psychologist to help me with my family issues. I was hoping to be heard and to hear something along the lines of, 'How about we bring in your mom or dad so we can understand each other's points of view?' or, 'After hearing you, I think your mom/dad is doing this for x reason. Have you considered that?' Instead, I got, 'They are adults, no one is going to change them, therefore the only thing for you to do is move out.' This didn't help me at all. It felt like being captain obvious. I didn't go back.

She engages deeply with her clients, fostering a space for meaningful connection and growth.
