Provider lacks empathy, I think she should reevaluate herself before judging her patients. Communication and compassion are severely lacking. The providers depth of knowledge should also be called into question. I wouldn't recommend this provider.

This provider should not be practicing medicine. Provider had absolutely no communication skills, and acts like it is a pain to do even the most basic tasks. I was never placed on the exam table for a full physical. Provider refused to fill alot of medications I had been stable on for years, she does not care about the physical or psychological harm, that may be inflicted by her new age brainwashed medical philosophy. I wouldn't let my horse be seen by this Provider, let alone a child or adult.

I am a new patient for HMG. My new patient appointment with Dr. Metger went extremely well. I was in search of previous health records and experienced a hiccup. I sought help in their Kingsport complex. Mary Beth in the reception area rocks. She got me headed in the right direction. Barsha Grant intercepted my need for help. In minutes all solved. I now know i made the right choice transfering to HMG.

2022 I had an ovarian cyst surgically removed at Renaissance. The nurse was kind. I had no privacy, Gurnie's were wheeled before me with unconscious bodies in full view as I was prepped for surgery. The anesthesiologist acted like he was on speed. I heard him, just a few feet away on the other side of a thin curtain belittling and criticizing the patient next to me for being "over weight". Would have been more impressed if something Ashley said resembled what the actual MRI results said- or even if they were near it. The MRI results were back early Friday morning so I googled what the specialist wrote for the results word for word. Ashley didn't address anything in the MRI except her interpretation which was a lot of arthritis and what she considered was an old injury but still did not reflect the mri results at all. The staff is very friendly, courteous and professional. I have always been seen at the appointed time, without delay. Dr. New has always given me great care. Thorough exams, explains everything well and answers my questions. Highly recommend him!

This is an amazing practice! The doctors are great and it's a hometown practice where you feel cared about. We love Dr. Fisher, and I have heard the other doctors and NPs are excellent as well.

The nurse for Shane Daniel was extremely rude. She called to let me know that I had to come in for an appointment to get refills and her demeanor and tone of voice was very unprofessional. Very sarcastic and sounded like she doesn’t want to work there. Shane is awesome but this particular nurse should find another career path if that is her attitude.

Was dissatisfied with this doctor. Did not seem concerned and I felt like he didn’t care what I had to say . Arrogant personality ad did not feel he really cares. Wasted my time and money. Was referred by my pcp.
