Quality Salon/Spa with an Attitude I came to Christie's on multiple occasions because it may be your best bet in Queens. It's always packed which must mean something. There is almost always a wait even with an appt. The front desk ladies look right through you and you have to keep checking back with them to make sure you aren't forgotten. Bit of a conveyor belt feel. But the stylists have been very skilled and I got great cuts and blowouts. AMAZING! The servive and staff extreamly friendly and professional,But MARIA is amazing. Maria is the sweetest person there. If your getting your hair colored ask for her. She is absolutly AMAZING! She gets my hair color perfect everytime. Whoever wants their hair colored, ask For Maria. You totally wont be disappointed.
Joyce does Great Cuts I used to always go to Christie's until a year ago. I went back recently and Joyce did a great cut. However, they charged me $8 to wet my hair before the cut. i didnt need a shampoo b/c i wanted to save time and i did it myself in the morning, so when i got there they just told me to have my hair wet in the sink. And they charged me $8 for that! Eventhough Joyce did such a great job, i dont think i will be going back. I prefer Nubest in Manhasset.
Nice Haircut The salon itself is very clean, up to date and modern. Not only will they cut hair, but offer messages, and nail services. Every stylist is well qualified in the latest trends, and will spend the time necessary to ensure you are satisfied with your haircut. Men's haircuts are a great deal for around $20. Guys, forget the barber, and head on over!
very good haircut...but atmosphere is very queens Maritza is excellent! Perfect style for my face and personality.She's friendly and courteous with her customers. The receptionists need a course in manners, however. It's really disappointing when you enter a "high end" salon, pay $100 for a haircut and the women sound like Ms Fine from the Nanny, but with a sour attitude.The manager rushed Maritza to hurry up with me because so many other people were waiting.
