I had an extremely negative experience at the Christie Clinic Foot Clinic in Champaign. After waiting over 40–50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I asked the nursing staff how much longer I should expect to wait. Instead of a simple update, they responded in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. Concerned, I asked to speak with the clinic manager, Richard Jean, and that interaction made it clear why the staff behaves this way. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. Excellent scheduling staff. Had a minor procedure and EVERYONE was kind and patient throughout the experience.
If I never have to be seen at this department ever again, it will be too soon. Poor management, poor training, poor communciation, and over all just poor service. I hate saying this - go to Carle for foot and ankle.
Great experience! But Google Maps reports that the patient entrance is on the W side of building- nope! Its on the East side- drive around the building to find it before you park or you'll have an unnecessarily long walk from W side parking. Lesson learned!
