Christiana Care is just terrible. My doctor left about one year now. I am still waiting to have a primary doctor. And every time I call, they get upset I don’t have one, until they noticed the issue. It is impossible to talk to someone who can actually help me with a question or anything. This is even more in the Middletown locations and the Newark location. People are so not helpful. In my opinion, a doctor on your staff needs to do some honest self-reflection and practice showing more empathy. OBGYNs are supposed to be strong advocates for women’s health, but being dismissive, defensive, and invalidating patients’ concerns doesn’t reflect that standard.
This obgyn is not somewhere you want to go if you have an emergency or An actual issue that needs to be addressed. Not only did they deny me nausea medication when I was pregnant to the point I had to contact the supervisor (I’m 100 pounds and this was the only way I could eat or keep food down to maintain my unborn child’s health), but they also decided to deny seeing me over being 1 minute past their 15 minute late policy when in technicality I was in the building with 12 minutes. After making my appointment a year ago and having to reschedule it once and reading all of the horrible reviews, I was very worried about coming to my annual visit but everyone at the office was very professional and kind. I did have to wait 30 minutes for reasons I don’t know, but once I started my appointment, it was a quick visit, and I was out in no time.
