Thank you to Dr. Sandella and Dr. Landi. They were very attentive, nice and patient with me. I was under a lot of stress due to my ankle and they made me feel so much better. I always get anxious meeting new doctors because i havent always had the best experiences. They made me feel so much better though. They really took all their time and care and were so nice. I went thru every meeting, training, on line instructions, met with the docs, nurses, nurse practitioner etc al. Had a knee replacement. The anesthesiologist did not give me the proper amount of sedation. I was basically fully awake upon arrival to the recovery room....yelling in pain...no one there knew what to do or give. One of the nurses had enough sense to ask an anesthesiologist how much pain meds I could have. As a result I had to spend the night. The nurses there treated me like a 3rd class citizen. I would give high marks to the Joint Replacement Center for surgical excellence and general hospital (nursing) care. My concern is with post-operative care and what seemed to be a lack of attention to my wife's condition and too-early discharge without orders for adequate follow-up therapy or attention.
