Is this place still open? I called awhile back and the receptionist asked why I needed to see a cardiologist!! Let's see, been seeing one every 6 months for 9 years, didn't think I had to explain everything to her. Now instead of driving 2 minutes for an appointment i drive 30 minutes.
It was very easy and relatively quickly to get an appointment here. The front desk representatives were friendly and helpful when I arrived. The nurse who took me back was friendly and patiently took my history related to the issue that brought me there. Dr. Patel was also very friendly, helpful, and attentive as he determined my care plan. Very happy to have Christiana Care so close to home and to have found a friendly provider to help me with my health.
What a crazy morning I had all before 8 am and was scheduled for an EKG that I ended up being late for because I got "turned around" my fault for putting the wrong address in GPS. Nevertheless, Tina, who performed my EKG, was so kind, pleasant, and professional. All the stress I endured before arriving just seemed to drift away. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the person who booked my appointment as she was very kind as well.
