Recently had low back surgery (laminectomy) to relieve pressure and pinched nerves -vertebrae L2, L3 and L4. Just a day after the surgery I’m already noticing a marked decrease in the pain and weakness I’ve lived with for years. Looking forward to continuing improvement as I heal. Dr. Zimmerman is tops in my book!
Went to Zimmerman for a second opinion. I previously (2 years ago)had L-2 thru L-5 fused by a different doctor and that doctor said I needed S-1 to be added to that fusion, so I went to Zimmerman for a second opinion. Zimmerman said the cause of my shooting pain down my left leg and the numbness in my left foot was due to 3 bone spurs and a pinched disc. He said the other surgeon never should have fused me.
