If you’re looking for office work for astronomical fees, this is your guy. After tens of thousands of dollars, when the case got complex, he breached a contractual agreement based on fabricating a technicality, and left. Frustrating flusters when appearing in front of the judge.
I was extremely disappointed with attorney Christian Smed. He sounded professional and competent, but he turned out to be more academic than practical. He quit the day before a hearing because he was not convinced we could win.
Christian is professional, eloquent, and empathetic. He will stop at nothing to fight for your well-being and the well-being of your family in your time of need. Would definitely recommend to friends looking for a divorce/family affairs attorney!
I retained Chris 4/1/2015 for a child custody matter. Despite my constant requests that he stop settlement attempts with opposing counsel and request a court date, Chris allowed the matter to drag on for nearly two years. He didn’t even start preparing a case until 12/19/2016 – the day before trial!
