I highly recommend this Christian Brothers shop on Rt 59 and North Ave in West Chicago. I needed to get my engine replaced in a 13 year old Chevy Malibu ECO and wasn’t sure I wanted to spent that kind of money. But it was well worth it! My car feels and drives like it is new, for real. The new engine purrs and the handling of the car has been tightened up at no cost to me. Other nagging issues were cleaned up at no additional cost. I brought my car to this shop to diagnose an engine code issue. After their inspection, I was told the vehicle needed a remanufactured part and reprogramming, with an estimated cost of around $1,500. Before moving forward with the repair, I decided to investigate further on my own. Within about 30 minutes, I resolved the issue using a $7 cleaner, and the problem was fixed without replacing any parts. I have to share how amazing the Christian Brothers team is! I am about to move out of state and needed to know if my old rusty car could handle it. They did an entire inspection for me, completely free of charge! Ken is absolutely amazing. He took the time to explain my options without trying to sway my decision in any direction. Thanks to Joe, Kevin and Tech Advaith took what looked like a serious electrical issue and quickly checked possible causes. They were so good to work with! The car was fixed quickly and for far less $$ than I was anticipating. Nice waiting area too.
