The people who helped me were very kind and professional, which I appreciated. However, in retrospect I'm a bit disappointed with my experience. I brought my vehicle in due to an unexplained odor. They took a look but weren't able to identify the source of the odor. I was charged $170. Doesn't seem like a great deal. They also conducted a diagnostic inspection without asking and recommended some unrelated repairs. That's fine, but I brought the vehicle in due to the odor, and that's really all I was concerned about.

I scheduled my Silverado for drop off to Christian Brothers Automotive for a basic tune-up—spark plugs, throttle body cleaning, and a proper inspection. What I got instead was a quote for services I never asked for, and silence until I called them myself. The truck was parked exactly where I left it. No one told me it hadn’t been touched. 3 trips. We had to arrange three trips to try to get a ball bearing replaced and after the third trip we took our van to another mechanic, who informed us that Christian Brothers misdiagnosed the problem. I’m disappointed with the lack of quality control - we specifically brought our van in with a vibrating noise, spent over $1,000 to ‘fix’ it and then drove away with the same noise.
