Thought I was in great shape at 70, wound up having an incident and finding out I needed open heart surgery. Well for a normally healthy person this was devastating, you actually going into denial but it has to happen. They send me to Dr. Cignoni after a lot of testing , a lot of testing and there were several this not good at all with my heart. I recently had a triple bypass by Dr. Signoni. He did an amazing job. Both him and the hospital staff were amazing.
Dr. Cignoni was my surgeon for quadruple bi-pass. Met with him pre and post surgery, explained what I could expect and gave me as much time as I needed to ask him questions. Experienced, talented, prompt, performed a top notch bi-pass and all the pre surgery tests and surgery were timely, no waiting around for any procedure. Top notch reputation amongst his peers and ICU nursing staff. Simply put , an excellent surgeon who I highly recommend for anyone needing heart disease treatment.
I have a very complex health history battling Systemic Lupus for 30+ years and now an Aortic Aneurysm. For the first time, I had an experience with a physician/surgeon who was actually willing to reach out to my other doctors to share insight, gather their perspective and actually care for me as a TEAM! And, that encompasses crossing networks, where BayCare & AdventHealth were willing to work together for the good of the patient.
