Had a pleasant experience with Dr Christensen when I had my surgery/follow up. Tried calling the office to speak with him briefly about some questions I had regarding potential complications but had to leave a message. Finally got a call back 24 hours later and it was the receptionist telling me that I would need to get another referral because “his time is money” so he wouldn’t be able to briefly speak to me. I’m glad he is retiring so more patients wont be made to feel unimportant.
He is a great surgeon. I had Dr Blair Christensen do both my wrists for carpal tunnel with great success. He was/is a very thourough, kind and professional Doctor in my opinion. If your in need of a plastic surgeon on Vancouver Island I’d consider adding him to your list of Doctors to consider.
My review and rate of Dr. Cristensen is based solely on his extremely rude front desk staff. The older woman is especially nasty. She speaks to you in a condescending tone and gives off the impression that she believes she is more valuable as a person then you are. She is completely unwilling to even attempt to be helpful and quite honestly is a horrible person to have represent the face of any company.
