I was flown down to Christchurch hospital from the Manawatu on Sunday and was discharged on Thursday. The care I received in the Orthopaedic ward was unreal. The nurses were so kind, helpful, patient and genuinely cared. I was quick to be evaluated and made as comfortable as possible and the staff were very accomodating to my partner who flew down too. Big thanks to Debz and Rachel in the orthopaedic ward- you ladies are absolute gems and I’m forever grateful for how you looked after me while I was in a vulnerable state
I have just gone through a bowel-cancer removal at the hospital. The medical and nursing staff were exceptional - very caring and professional.The nurses work so hard and should be paid heaps more for their hard and caring work. Hopspital is never the place we want to be, but the caring qualities of the medical staff make the experience as tollerable as possible. Thanks heaps for your care and professionalism.
They have only just begun performing surgery for mechanical lower back pain.
Rude, unhelpful, unprofessional. No accountability. Blame others. Its a joke. I hope the Government continue to get rid of you useless people. Your no good. Bye bye.
