My Mother was taken into Christchurch Public Hospital Emergency last Sunday. The care and kindness she received over her week long stay was outstanding. The quality of care, cleanliness of the ward, wonderful ward staff, excellent meals we are very grateful for. Attention to her condition was of a very high quality. My Mother was in Parkside Ground Medical. Coffee shop for visitors was also of a very high standard. Thankyou for providing this high level of care. Philippa Rooke

Not GOOD AT ALL!! Husband spend 14 hours in ER without a bed, without a meal!! Without a drink!! Beeing in pain!!!! Worse than a 4th world country this hospital! Not recommended !!
They were put in a single room at the far end of a general ward.
That was terrible service again at the Emergency Department. We went there around 1 am after my daughter vomited 5 times at home. A nurse came and did the preliminary exams. She gave some fluids and my daughter thrown up them straight away, multiple times. She then asked to do urine sample and we did. A tablet to stop vomiting was given. 6 am in the morning, no signs of a doctor. I had to press the alert button all the time to get their attention.
