If I had one word to describe Chris Wharton, it would be diplomatic. Chris represented me through a complex divorce and custody case involving my son, who is not biologically linked to me. As an LGBTQ family, there were legal issues that went beyond a typical divorce, and Chris did an excellent job navigating the complexities while keeping the focus on what mattered most. I really liked working with this team, they were nice, answered my questions well, and helped push for the things I wanted. The dogs also are a nice bonus.
Wharton Law really had my back through a high conflict divorce. They were courteous, timely, and kind, patient with me while holding firm boundaries with my ex. They would not let me get steamrolled. Chris was very knowledgable and familiar with the terrain of divorce, and brought up items that I wouldn't have thought to negotiate (never having done this before). Chris Wharton has got to be one of the smartest, kindest, most hardworking, and passionate attorneys I've ever come across. (And this is coming from an attorney who has opposed Chris on several cases). He's beyond professional; he's always thorough; he knows the law and the facts of his clients' cases; and he never half asses anything. But beyond that, he couldn't be a nicer guy!
