Had Chris Tile do a bathroom floor and part of the shower wall. The layout looks clean and nothing feels off when you look across the room. Grout lines are nice and even, cuts around the edges look sharp too. Place feels more finished now and not pieced together like before. Good work.
Got a quote over the phone first and then they came out to measure.the process was easy to follow and Chris kept us updated on when materials would arrive.We had been comparing a few options around Winfield and this felt like the right fit.The bathroom floor looks great and the spacing is really even.
The initial estimate was straightforward and they showed up on the day we agreed on. We were looking at a few tile companies around Glen Ellyn and Chris Tile had the best communication early on. The shower tile came out even and the edges are all finished nicely. Felt comfortable throughout the job.
Had a cracked tile in the shower floor that was letting water seep underneath and the floor outside the shower was starting to feel soft. Chris pulled the old tile out and the mortar bed was basically crumbling. He redid the whole shower pan and retiled it with smaller mosaic tiles that grips better when wet. No more soft spot.
We'd been sitting on the idea of redoing our shower for probably a year before actually reaching out. Chris came by on a Friday which worked for us since we both work during the week. He had samples in his truck which saved us a trip to a showroom. The whole project wrapped up mid-week and we were showering in there by Thursday, maybe Wednesday night actually.
