Chris has been helping my father JT with his 1998 dodge. He’s been fantastic, super knowledgeable and able to answer questions. Great troubleshooting and problem solving even over the phone! Chris being willing to come out and do service when and where you need is a great convince when you have a busy schedule and can’t get your truck to start. My dad JT has been raving about him non-stop and intends to be a repeat customer and use Chris for other projects!
Chris is truly a gem of a mechanic! The alternator on my Sprinter stopped working as I was passing through the Boise area on a Friday evening, and I was struggling to find any shop that could fix it until Monday. How lucky I am to have found Chris’s number on here. He met me at O’Rileys literally within the hour, verified the problem, crawled under my van and properly replaced the alternator without issue. Read all the 1 star reviews and I had a similar experience. At first he was super communicative and then after an hour of waiting I tried calling/texting and he ghosted me and left me and 4 kids stranded in the heat. See my text thread and times. It says it all, and his responses after. He started calling me a Karen when I told him I was going to leave him a 1 star review. Good guy helped me trouble shoot over the phone for free!
I kid you not, Chris is a lifesaver. I had been working on an incredibly annoying squeal/screech on my Jeep Wrangler for about 2 weeks. I called him and he talked me through step by step things to check and continued to follow up via text messages and video analysis for the next day. We scheduled an appointment in the event I couldn’t figure it out. Ultimately, I got it solved and Chris wanted nothing in return.
