Good groceries but not customer service We use to go to this store previously for South Asian groceries and produce but stopped lately due to poor customer service. The owner does even bother to say hi or greet customer. Also prices are comparatively higher. There are few other stores offer better customer service and better prices. One day I bought a sweet box from this store and found not good (bad smell). When I went to return it, the owner was hesitant to refund, but finally did.
Are worms allowed? I bought atta at this store and asked the sardar if it was a good choice, he nodded flippantly and said "of course". I get home and there were worms in the atta. Aren't there some health rules concerning that.
One stop for all Indian Groceries This is one of the grocery stores that caters to the needs of Indians or anyone looking for Indian grocery. The store is very well stocked. Indian vegetables and Indian Sweets are also available. They also have a very good collection of Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam cassettes and DVDs. I am a regular for their DVD rental section. Nice Grocery Store I went to this store recently and found the stuff was well stocked and very clean. The owner was very nice and I would certainly recomond this store.
Good Store Poor Service It is the cleanest store in Metro Denver with fresh merchandise. The sardar at the frond desk is as rude as his counterparts in Bangkok. He can sweep away the competition if he wants to by stop being so rude. Most people don't shop there because of his behavior; the same reason we took our business somewhere else. The prices are simmilar to other stores'.
Be aware of expiry items Be careful when buying in this store, i see expired goods are sold intentionally. For a situation the expired date was hidden by the price tag for the product i was looking for . I accidentally took the other box of the same product i saw the same which was hidden by the price tag. This made me peel the price tag and see the expiry date. I will recomend this store if you just want to mind your business It is great store I always shop there. I do not go there to socialize I go there to get my groceries and never had bad experience. I have gotten worms in the atta from other 3 nearby stores. It could be the bad shipment. And if you make the effort he will talk to you.
Very Nice Grocery Store I don't know what all these bad reviewers are on about - I've never had a negative experience with Bombay Bazaar, everything I've ever purchased was fresh and the owner is consistantly friendly to me, even when I did ask questions. I only wish another Bombay Bazaar would open downtown, I'd do a lot more of my shopping there.
Great Selection, and NOT rude to me I have shopped at Bombay several times, and never experienced 'rudeness' from owner or staff. In fact, he has helped me several times when he saw me searching for something I couldn't find. For me, the most important aspect of a market is its selection. I find Bombay Bazaar very strong in this measure. I have not tried too many other shops, but the ones I have have NOT had the selection that I find at Bombay Bazaar.
