The lighthouse is a faithful replica of an earlier beacon that guided vessels up and down the Choptank River. Inside is a small museum celebrating the rich maritime heritage of Dorchester County. The Lighthouse is open daily, 9:30am-5:30pm, from May 1 through October 31. There is no admission fee, but donations are appreciated.

This is a replica of the original lighthouse. The main floor is a small museum and has a small replica of the original lisght crystal. Nicely kept and worth a visit if you're in the vicinity
It was very beautiful, it was very fun to read about the lighthouses history and climb the ladder up to the top. It was a great experience. The dock around it also added to the cool atmosphere. It was well maintained and clean!!
