I got my hair done by Julia the other day, it was my first time dying it so I was nervous. Julia did an amazing job, she was so patient and did a great job explaining the process. My hair turned out beautiful, she made me feel pretty again and brought my boring hair to life. The salon had the best vibes, was clean and calm. Highly recommend!!❤️
Had my hair done by Susan, in their new location. I had been to the former location a few times before as well. The team is always so courteous and professional. I always love my hair after they are done with it, and find the whole process totally relaxing and pleasant. I actually drive all the way from Port Alberni to get my hair done here. Reasonable pricing for the outcome and I never feel I could have paid less for the same result, anywhere. I highly recommend the team at Chopstix!
Julia has been the only person I trust with my hair for years. I’ve followed her wherever she goes because she is incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her craft. I really appreciate and admire that she takes the time at the beginning of each appointment to communicate expectations clearly, so there are no surprises. She listens, offers honest professional advice, and always makes me feel confident and comfortable in her chair. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

My first time to this salon, so I was a bit nervous and was hoping for the best. My hair stylist was Michael, who seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. He went through what I wanted with color, cut and style before he proceeded. I must say, I hadn't found a stylist that could cut my curly hair the way I hoped for. Needless to say, I was completely satisfied with Michael's competence and loved the way my hair turned out. His years in this field accentuated his expertise.
