Had my hair done by Susan, in their new location. I had been to the former location a few times before as well. The team is always so courteous and professional. I always love my hair after they are done with it, and find the whole process totally relaxing and pleasant. I actually drive all the way from Port Alberni to get my hair done here. Reasonable pricing for the outcome and I never feel I could have paid less for the same result, anywhere. I highly recommend the team at Chopstix!
Wanted to share my great experience here with julia! I had nearly sworn off hair salons after so many disappointing appointments never getting what I wanted or feeling *heard*... Julia listened and made great suggestions that would work with my hair rather than against it and gave the best haircut ive ever had! Also the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, the salon is adorable and I felt it was a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back! :)
I got my hair done by Julia the other day, it was my first time dying it so I was nervous. Julia did an amazing job, she was so patient and did a great job explaining the process. My hair turned out beautiful, she made me feel pretty again and brought my boring hair to life. The salon had the best vibes, was clean and calm. Highly recommend!!❤️
booked an appointment online with Susan, after seeing a review mention she was good with curly hair. I have lots of different curl patterns in my hair, from wavy to ringlets, and wanted something with lots of layers to show off the more curly bottom sections. Susan listened and really executed! I've never been so happy with a haircut - not only does it look phenomenal curly, but i can straighten it and wear it that way too. It's been a few months now, and it still looks great. Just had my haircut by Julia and it's chef's kiss 😘 First of all they fit me in last minute which nobody does anymore. I gave her a difficult cut in a Mohawk/Fohawk style but she knocked it out of the park and great conversation too boot. I would definitely recommend and I will be back
