You can’t make an appt on any day but Mondays at 8am when they ‘open appts’ so it’s a race to try to get a well check up for your child. Called this morning at 8am and they told me to call back on Wednesday because they’re not opening appts because of callouts????
Horrible. My daughter is autistic and they should know because it’s on her chart. She gets sick all of the time because of her immune system being weak and every single time I take her to high point they don’t help or give her anything to make her feel better. The doctor didn’t even bother testing her for Covid or rsv like they are supposed to. I have been going to this practice for the last 13 years. I used to always be seen on time and felt like the provider had a connection with my children. However, in the last five years things have gone downhill. I now wait consistently between 30 to 60 minutes past my appointment time on every single visit before we are seen. We have never complained and just accepted the wait, but it’s frustrating. We originally scheduled two appointments for our children, but due to the office being fully booked, we had to space them out. Unfortunately, on the day of our first appointment, I received devastating news about a family member's passing just before arriving. I was already emotional and on edge. At check-in, the front desk needed to update our insurance, and I was trying to explain we had two active policies.
