I had an excellent experience at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia )CHOP). From the moment we arrived, my child received prompt and attentive care. The doctors were professional, compassionate, and made us feel that my child was in very good hands. I’ve unfortunately had to visit CHOP a few times over the past year with my son, but every time, the staff has been fantastic. Everyone there really cares about the children, and even care about the parent’s comfort as well. We’ve even had a physician from the ER follow up hours after we left to make sure our child was improving and that there weren’t any other factors that could have contributed to his earlier state. 10/10 You never want to face a medical emergency with your child, but I don’t have any notes on how CHOP KOP... read more

Took my 2 year old in for work up as her blood sugar dropped very low and went almost unconscious. The urgent care didn’t do anything but give her snacks and say she was sick so we went to kop. Well KOP apparently did lab work NOT SEEN IN HER CHART and apparently noted through out the 4 hours we were there also NOT SEEN IN HER CHART and we were discharged without any reason that our daughter went limp in our arms. Nurse Melinda in the ED 5/5, CRNP Julianne Peed 5/5, the nurse who missed my sons IV twice and stuck him in the same spot when she missed 0/5, Dr Cicioni 2/5. Nothing worse than a doctor coming into your room and pulling up the discharge papers on the computer without even examining your child or addressing questions. I wish I never had to meet Cicioni and just got to stay with Peed. She was so empathic, genuine, and personable. Melinda was exactly the same way and made our visit much more enjoyable.
