If I could give zero stars, I would I brought my ONE YEAR OLD in for a high fever, barely eating/drinking, possible dehydration, seemed to be labor breathing, and genuinely not acting like herself as well as not sleeping. It was also 10:00 pm when she was at her all time worst, so no urgent cares were open. I showed up at the ER around 1030, was triaged, but I was sent to waiting room where I was not taken back until about 1:00 AM. 3 hours and still waiting. If its true emergency, Go to a real hospital.
What a DISGRACE. Its 2am and I just walked out with my 6yr old and a possible fractured sternum to head to DE to Nemours. ZERO patients. Just about 25 staff members jerking around at the front and outside our room eating, carrying on and chatting about Hawaii. We got here at 10:45 and nobody has even so much as poked their head in our room. Get it TF together man! And I BETTER NOT SEE A BILL! Went for psych inpatient at 12:30pm, don’t get seen by psych until 6:30pm left the safe room to talk to psych in the conference room, the nurse who was watching him was not, sirens go off and apparently he slipped and hit his head on concrete and was seizing. They said “ don’t worry he’s safe he’s in the emergency room “ ok well you weren’t doing your one job and now my son has a head injury. Don’t get a bed till 11pm.
