One of my favorite Thai restaurants I've tried in Toronto recently. We came for Summerlicious and every course was thoughtfully prepared. The Angry Seafood Curry lived up to its reputation—the Southern Thai yellow curry was rich, creamy, and packed with coconut flavor. Prawns Donut was fantastic. Crispy Fish Tom Kha was superb. The food has lots of authentic thai flavours which was amazing.
5 stars just for the soft shell crab fried rice and durian panna cotta here!
The service was good. Takeout was also good. My objection is the 10% reduction for cash payment. They don’t ring it in or issue a receipt. While you might be happy to save 10%, they are still charging YOU 13%HST and not paying it to CRA. They are also not claiming the earnings. So you are being ripped off in two ways. As we all hear complaining about our healthcare and other systems lacking funding, this is one of the culprits. I’d rather pay tax and pay 10% more than engage in sketchy tax evasion like this.
