chomp sushi is unique A great sushi restaurant for people who want to try something new and different. They have some truly unique items on their sushi menu, including an amazing roll that is wrapped in deep fried potato chips. Their prices are a little higher than some smaller locales, but they are generous with their serving sizes, and the flavor can't be beat.
chomp sushi is pricy Went there for lunch on winter 2008. Quality is so so but price was bit pricy. Environment was alrite though. I used coupon to get $10 off but still my and a buddy ate just 3 rolls and bill came out to be around $40. We normally pay around $20-$25 for when we order couple sushi rolls from other places in town.
Sushi ONLY... OK well I can honestly say their sushi is great.. Their Sexy Mutha roll is one of my favorite. However or teppan I preffer to go to Karutas in Buena Park.. if you go to and pick up an OC Weekly magazine get their cupon for a buy one dinner get one free teppan only you'll save alot especially if its a birthday party you can use as many coupons as you want .. At first I was embarrased but then I noticed everyone uses them so what the heck.. free dinner cant beat that..and their portions are alot bigger then at Ch... read more
Loud I had dinner here to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was perfect. The place is always crowded. We had the teppan dinner where they cook your food in front of you. It's a bit overpriced but fun for a group. I wasn't wowed by the food but it wasn't disappointing either. I wouldn't pick this place as a first choise but would not decline if I was invited.
Fun for sushi, teppan-grill, or to be at the bar This place has everything. They have a teppan grill for shows, they have a sushi bar, for people that are alone or just want to eat only sushi, they have karaoke nights, and plain tables. All You Can Eat Sushi You can't beat all you can eat sushi. On Thursday nights Chomp turns into a club sort of. The all you can eat sushi for $20 a person brings in all the college age kids. There is a full bar and also hababchi grills you can eat at too but those don't have the all you can eat sushi. Sit at the sushi bar for all the fun. Its loud and crazy in here. Perfect place for singles and dates. Good sushi too for onlt $20 a person.
