Had a car starter installed here on my Mercedes around 2021. It never worked properly from the beginning. Whenever the starter is used, the trunk would open randomly after a few hours. Martin the technician tried to convince me that my car had some electrical issues. I know for a fact it is a bad job wiring on his part. Went to ask about it again recently and they told me they need to remove the starter and for me to use the car for 6 weeks to see if the problem is really the starter.
