Yummy cinnamon bun
I spent $38 on a set of frozen cinnamon rolls (I didn’t realize the price until it was rung up). I bought a couple of other things so didn’t realize how overpriced these were until after. I just baked them and they are actually inedible with how much cinnamon is in them. It was like eating a whole cup of straight up powdered cinnamon, it was shocking. I’m really disappointed because I like to support local businesses.
I’ve been going to Choko mocko for years, but haven’t been in several. I just went back and can’t fathom how the deserts got to taste so awful, like fake chemical sweeteners grossness. The ginger cookie which used to be a strong hold favourite, had a freezer burn taste and completely different texture to the cookies of old, and the whip cream filling tasted like straight chemical sweeteners, not creamy, not like vanilla… just gross. Pie is absolutely disgusting, for $45 it was absolutely awful way overpriced. Manager also hid in the back and refused to talk to me! Unbelievable service
Did not like the taste of gluten free deserts. I'm sure if I could only eat gluten free it would be ok. Very expensive. I purchased for my granddaughter who has an egg allergy.
