Unfortunately, this was my second-worst thali experience in Surrey, after Thakkar Thal. I really wanted to like Chokhi Dhani, but the food was extremely disappointing. Nothing tasted fresh, most of the items were dry, and honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing in the thali that I actually enjoyed. The service wasn’t any better. We were given proper plates and bowls but plastic cups for water and chaas, along with plastic spoons. We had to specifically ask for proper silverware.
