He introduced himself by telling me he didn’t think my specialist knew what they were talking about and were getting out of their lane and wasting his time by sending me to him. When I told him that my other rheumatologist found certain things. he said well why don’t you see her anymore ? I had to explain to him how I moved eight hours away from there ! I have had Dr Simon over 8 years and I am satisfied with his work he is climbed every mountain and every hill to make sure I'm comfortable at all times and they always call and check up on me to make sure that I'm doing fine and his infusions are the best and if it's not the right one he will find the right one he is the best around for me
Good care and good staff. Only complaint is that they refuse to sign forms for a handicap placard. They accused me of asking them to lie on a form. I did no such thing. They treated me like a drug seeker in the first 2 visits, even though I have suffered with my condition for over 20 years. This is common among doctors now, so I guess that's normal.
Doctor Simon, at our last appointment, looked me in my eyes and asked if I even actually had RA (I was diagnosed at 5, I'm about to be 28). He asked me this because a medication I had been on and off of for 10 years finally stopped working. I brought up potentially having EDS and he hit me with the, "EDS has no treatment so it doesn't matter". HUH? My hip popping out of place doesn't matter?
