Doctor Simon, at our last appointment, looked me in my eyes and asked if I even actually had RA (I was diagnosed at 5, I'm about to be 28). He asked me this because a medication I had been on and off of for 10 years finally stopped working. Today was my first visit after nearly 15 years putting off my health, my pain, and just me period, and today I felt heard and cared for by Dr. Simon. I’m 38 and spent most of it in pain and learned to just self cope and “deal” with it and also not talking about it anymore bc as patients we most often feel like an annoyance or not believed. I received excellent care from Dr. Simmon and his staff for over five years. Sadly, I had to move out of state.I recommend Choice Rheumatologist.
Did not ask questions. Came in and told me it fibromyalgia when I have not shown any symptoms of that and have had four positive ANA’s showing positive for lupus and was trying to transfer to a closer rhemetologist since I now live in Lawton. Then told me all those ANA’s were false and ordered another which came back positive…called me back told me to go to another clinic and test again because he was still certain it was a false positive.. a joke.
