Extremely BAD service. Insensitive staff and lazy attitude. Emergency just for namesake!! Can I give them a negetive star?? Emergency means nothing in this emergency room. People wait for hours and doctors are missing. I am writing this review as I came here 6hours ago. Got all tests done and still waiting after 6 hours for doctors to see. Very disappointed. I made a mistake coming here. Bring plenty of food, water and blankets if you ever need to visit this “Emergency” room because you are going to stay a while!
On June 11th my 15 month old had a seizure when we were staying at our hotel on vacation. The ambulance staff brought us to this hospital. The staff were very knowledgeable and took very good care of our daughter. Even though this was hands down the scariest situation I've ever experienced it was definitely better by the fact the medical staff were very clear about answering all our questions and concerns and explaining everything that was going on with our daughter. On 6/9/25, after 3 days of my teen having stomach cramps, I decided to take him to CHOC emergency room, where he had his appendectomy last year. Having waited in other hospital ER's for 8+ hours, we packed an "overnight" bag with chargers, his switch, snacks, jackets etc. I wanted to be prepared, as we live 45 minutes away. We parked valet and walked right up to the ER check in station. The two ladies that helped us were great, super friendly and explained the process. The most amazing morning team at ER! Had over 8 people at our services! The wonderful service started from valet, front desk to all the amazing helpful nurses to the two amazing doctors that helped with the procedure.Thank you Choc for this wonderful experience as a parent it’s fearful stressful at ER but you guys made it simple, caring and with compassion! Forever grateful Time at ER less than 2hrs!
