**As a warning to others, be careful with the kinds of X-rays you allow dentists to take (my insurance you can only have a whole-mouth xray once every 5 years). This assistant should know, being a dental specialist, that deep cleaning when there are no cavities is going to be likely be outside of insurance coverage. Not only are the prices here very high but I was disregarded after not healing within the normal timeline from a procedure. In a separate instance Dr Kwon used her hands to try to force my jaw to open wider without asking, despite me explaining this wasn't possible. Humboldt has very few dentists accepting new patients, but it is worth going somewhere else.
This place denied me emergency care when I chipped a tooth and exposed a nerve. All they offered was a 400$ appointment to become a patient and possibly help much later after. Additionally I was hung up on in the middle of a scentence.
I don’t like dentists but this office and Dr. Kwon made me feel really comfortable. During covid I didn’t go anywhere and now I have quite a few things I need to do. The first office I went to elsewhere tried to rush everything and I was not happy. I found Dr. Kwon and they explained very well and took the time to put me at ease. I’m really happy with the work and my experience. I would recommend them over and over again.
