This is the last person you want to go to for dental work. I went for a 2nd opinion and received a 1800 bill. Just wanted a crown without a root canel. I have plenty crowns and know my dental procedures.
**As a warning to others, be careful with the kinds of X-rays you allow dentists to take (my insurance you can only have a whole-mouth xray once every 5 years). If this dentist had done their due diligence, they would ask for your x-rays from your prior provider.** After an initial oral evaluation, Dr. Kwon's staff encouraged me to take an almost immediate appointment for a deep clean, for just days after the initial consult. This assistant should know, being a dental specialist, that deep cleaning when there are no cavities is going to be likely be outside of insurance coverage. Not only are the prices here very high but I was disregarded after not healing within the normal timeline from a procedure. In a separate instance Dr Kwon used her hands to try to force my jaw to open wider without asking, despite me explaining this wasn't possible. Humboldt has very few dentists accepting new patients, but it is worth going somewhere else.
This place denied me emergency care when I chipped a tooth and exposed a nerve. All they offered was a 400$ appointment to become a patient and possibly help much later after. Additionally I was hung up on in the middle of a scentence.
