This is a great place to get items for a lower price
I called about arranging a large donation pickup and the donation number they give out doesn’t work. When I let the girl who answered the phone know, she was dismissive and completely unhelpful. Instead of trying to assist, she gave me attitude and hung up on me. Totally unacceptable. I ended up calling the ReStore instead, and they were actually helpful and arranged a bulk donation pickup without issues. I won’t be using this place for pickups.
Always has a nice selection and employees are great.
Quick version to whoever is in charge of CHKD Thrift chain: if you’re not making enough money, the solution isn’t raising prices. You’ll sell two pairs of Levi’s at $7.99 each before you sell one pair for $14.99 and you’ll have more rack space. I go to thrift stores all day everyday and this one takes the cake for #1 most pricey thrift store from Va beach to Williamsburg.
