Way better than Goodwill and franchise thrifts.
It was my first time to this particular CHKD thrift store, and it was as nice as the others I've been to. There was a special 4th of July area up front, which I really liked. It was also Monday, so there was a 25% military discount, which I didn't know about, so that was a special surprise for me, and I was to buy a few more items. The cashier was very pleasant, and like always, I rounded my total up to the nearest dollar for the children.
I don’t know what is going on with the thrift store market but I’ve went to a couple Goodwill’s and a couple CHKD’s and their prices are through the roof for items that don’t even have any life left. They’re just selling things to sell things I just left the CHKD on Virginia Beach Boulevard And They are overpricing everything you will not leave the store Happy I let left upset because thrift stores are supposed to be for people with low income that can afford things like homeless and single mothers or single people raising f... read more
The price for a single non name brand dirty suitcase was 69.99 plus tax and let me say it again it was very dirty well used I can see if it were in like new condition then maybe 40 dollars would be responsible but for 70 dollars you can go to Ross and buy a new one this store is taking advantage of someone else's trash and selling it as new
