I frequent the S. Military Hwy CHKD thrift store and spend an unhealthy amount of money as I love to look out for the neighborhood kids, but today is my last time supporting them due to Donna. Was standing in line- cashier called for back up- Donna was unfortunately the back up- went to her line- she said in the most nastiest of tones- stand over there that’s where the line is. The staff is consistently rude and impatient. When taking a photo of some finds I didn’t have enough time to look at I was kicked out the store because of closing time but I had already been making my way out. She said she would call 911 if we didn’t leave. I understand if it had been beyond past closing time or if someone refused to leave but all customers were walking towards the exit and it was not 7pm. I would give zero Stars this place is absolutely too expensive to be a thrift store. There's a fine line between going to a thrift store and buying clothes that cost just as much as brand new clothes would. The people that work there are absolutely awful to nudity and very disrespectful I would never suggest this thrift store to anybody. If you want an affordable thrift store that has fair prices go to salvation army on Virginia Beach boulevard
Saw a peice of clothing on the rack in the back then asked about it and said they'd put it out very soon, stood like a idiot for 40 minutes and never put a single thing out.
Too expensive not to have a fitting room and no exchange/refund policy.
