Doctor Takehara takes time with me as a patient, She listens and orders any and all tests as Preventative Medicine. She also makes me feel human...never rushed. A favorite Doctor in my books.
Set up an initial appointment with Dr. Takehara as a new patient. She seemed friendly throughout this visit, however, I had some major issues with how she approached my care. After getting my weight (165) and height (5'6") she felt the need to comment (without even looking at me) that I was overweight. I went to see Dr. Takehara regarding some stomach issues that I have been having. She was very dismissive of my symptoms, saying that my symptoms were probably due to excessive drinking, poor diet, and being overweight. Thankfully, I advocated for myself and asked that she do some kind of stool testing, which she agreed to. It turns out I have a bacteria that has been causing my GI issues, which would have never been caught had I not said something. I have found Dr. Takehara to be thorough and very professional. My husband and I both have been perfectly happy with the care we have received from Dr. Takehara and wouldn't hesitate to give her a glowing recommendation.
Dr Takehara was patient, kind and professional. She remedied my immediate medical issue, and counseled me on my chronic medical issue, (something I have been searching for without success until now).
Dr Takehara treated my Mother, she is very compassionate, thorough and caring. She facilitated the necessary tests to happen immediately, and called her early the next day with the results. I'm very impressed with the Doctor and staff.
