The food just isn't quite as good as it used to be. Not piping hot when it gets to you. Just a bit slap dash, BLT sandwich filling was a bit sparse. It takes an age to get served if there is mire than 1 person in the queue. Only 1 person serves...takes order, makes the drinks, serves the cakes takes the money. No wonder it takes so long. It's not the staffs fault. Maybe another person should serve too...be the drinks maker?
Great place, very good prices for everything. Cafe good but seating a bit school dinner room ish. Doesn't stop stop us going regularly.

My brother and I visited the cafe on the 8th may ,we were very disappointed with the food ,I ordered scampi which came with anaemic looking chips and tasteless peas that were dry and hard ,my brother didn't fair any better with his quiche and salad which was like a child's portion .I couldnt begin to describe what passed for a pot of tea ,I've never tasted anything like it .!! I don't usually post reviews but felt this had to be said .Awful food ,needless to say we won't be going again .
